1.1. This Code of Professional & Ethical Conduct outlines the standards of behaviour expected from all employees, contractors, and associates of IE Engagement Limited. As a UK-based Company, we are committed to upholding the highest ethical standards and adhering to UK laws and regulations. This code serves as a guideline for conducting business with integrity, transparency, and respect. All members of the Company are encouraged to advocate for promoting best practices within the profession and must comply with the standards in this Code of Conduct.
1.2. Our Code of Conduct highlights critical characteristics which create an environment reflecting the highest professional and ethical standards.
2.1. Integrity & Honesty
All employees must perform their duties with integrity and honesty, ensuring all business activities reflect fairness, trustworthiness, and transparency. Fraud, dishonesty, or misrepresentation in business practices will not be tolerated.
2.2. Compliance with Laws & Regulations
Employees must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards governing our business activities, including but not limited to the UK Bribery Act, anti-money laundering regulations, and data protection laws (GDPR).
2.3. Confidentiality
All employees must protect the confidentiality of sensitive company, client, and partner information. Information should only be disclosed to authorised individuals and for legitimate business purposes. Any breach of confidentiality will be subject to disciplinary action.
2.4. Conflicts of Interest
Employees must avoid situations where personal interests conflict, or appear to conflict, with the interests of the company. Any potential conflict of interest must be promptly disclosed to management for review and action.
2.5. Respect & Diversity
IE Engagement Limited is committed to fostering a workplace that respects and values diversity and inclusivity. Discrimination, harassment, or any form of unfair treatment based on race, gender, age, religion, disability, or sexual orientation is strictly prohibited.
2.6. Fair Competition
Employees must engage in fair competition and adhere to all competition laws. Anti-competitive behaviour, including collusion, price-fixing, or monopolistic practices, is not permitted and will be addressed under applicable UK competition laws.
2.7. Anti-Bribery & Corruption
In accordance with the UK Bribery Act 2010, the Company strictly prohibits the offering, giving, soliciting, or receiving of any form of bribe, whether in cash or other forms, to or from any individual or organisation. All business decisions must be made in the best interest of the company and its stakeholders.
2.8. Use of Company Resources
Company assets and resources, including information technology and intellectual property, must be used responsibly and only for legitimate business purposes. Misuse or unauthorised use of company resources is prohibited.
2.9. Health, Safety & Environment
Company is committed to ensuring the health and safety of our employees and others affected by our operations. All employees must comply with health and safety regulations and take appropriate steps to reduce environmental impact where possible.
2.10. Reporting Violations
Employees are encouraged to report any breaches of this code or unethical behaviour to their supervisor, HR, Line Manager, or through the Company’s whistleblowing procedure. The Company will investigate all reports thoroughly and ensure that there is no retaliation against employees who report in good faith.
2.11. Disciplinary Action
Any employee who violates this Code of Professional & Ethical Conduct will be subject to disciplinary action, which may include termination of employment, depending on the severity of the misconduct.
